“Victory for Ukraine means a free, sovereign, and independent state that can determine its own destiny - that is the essence,” said UK Prime Minister (2019–2022) Boris Johnson during the special YES meeting, defining the criteria for the end of Ukraine’s struggle against Russian aggression.
The event took place in Kyiv on February 24 and marked the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It served as a strategic dialogue platform for leading political and public figures from Ukraine, Europe, and the United States to discuss prospects for ending the war, the role of international support, and Ukraine’s place in the future European security architecture.
The special meeting reaffirmed the importance of democratic unity, strengthened the consensus on Ukraine’s strategic role as a key pillar of European security, and emphasized the need for the EU to take an active role in shaping security guarantees.
We are grateful to partner countries, their governments, and their societies for their sustained support of Ukraine. We are proud to have amplified YES's key messages by providing video signal processing and distribution for this important international event.
