From 13 to 16 November in Lviv, Cosmonova Broadcast took part in the second international meeting of network operators, NOGUA. The event, held under the slogan Resilience is Ukraine, became an effective platform for sharing expertise.
Ukrainian speakers demonstrated practical, battle-tested solutions that continue to work even under the most challenging conditions.
Our fellow Ukrainians also presented their experience in implementing 10GPON, IPv6, cloud solutions, and the support ecosystem for ISPs.
Cybersecurity and cyber defense of internet networks sparked particularly active discussions. Ukrainian telecom has become the target of thousands of cyberattacks - from massive DDoS assaults to multi-layer intrusions into critical infrastructure nodes. The past year has brought new challenges, but also new practices that every telecom operator, data center, and cloud provider must adopt. Today, the .ua domain is not only a digital space that identifies our country. Throughout the war, it has become an integral element of Ukraine’s cyber resilience and an internationally recognized example of an antifragile digital ecosystem.
The second major topic was the use and regulatory framework of AI. One of the key insights was that operators can now deploy their own LLM solutions within their data centers, gaining full control over data, customization, security, and independence from external clouds.
The second NOGUA meeting demonstrated how essential international cooperation and knowledge exchange are. Ukrainian telecom holds unique expertise in countering cyber threats, while EU countries have spent years developing regulations for the sensitive sphere of AI use, especially in relation to children and other vulnerable groups. In a time of crisis on our continent, when we face new informational, energy, and cyber threats almost daily, countries must unite for collective resilience and security.

This partnership reflects our commitment to advancing innovation in media technology and supporting industry development at both national and global levels
