The Children's Day celebration idea originated in 1925 at the World Conference on Child Welfare in Geneva. Representatives from 54 countries supported it. Since 1950, this date has become an annual event.
However, it was only in 1989, forty years after the official date was established, that the first international document with binding legal force, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, was adopted.
UN member countries protect the younger generation, including from harmful content in the media. Media must filter potentially harmful materials, mark age restrictions, and adhere to appropriate broadcasting times.
The Cosmo PlayOut service supports automatic content labeling and helps easily create a broadcast schedule that complies with all legal requirements for protecting children's rights.
